What is Pandan Leaf?
Pandan leaf is an aromatic herb that has been in daily use in Southeast Asia for many years.
It is also called oriental vanilla and gives a gentle, sweet aroma and natural color to snacks and food and drinks.
Another characteristic is that when it is heated, the aroma is enhanced and a natural green color comes out.
Pandan leaf is not very well-known in Japan yet, but it is a plant with a gentle aroma and a wide scope for use, giving it plenty of potential.

Pandan Craft
Pandan Ambassador® Pandan Crafts (trademark registration pending) are modern crafts created using pandan leaves, learning from the wisdom of straw-weaving which has been passed down through generations in the Okinawan life and culture as well as imitating the beautiful form of "Thai Papp Baitoi Pen Dokmai".
Pandan leaves are not a material that you can use for a long time like the leaves of the umbrella tree. As time passes, they dry out, the color changes to brown and it feel rougher to the touch. The gentle, sweet aroma, however, doesn’t fade.
These changes are precisely why pandan craft is so appealing. Rather than being a tool that you can continue to use, this is a craft that remains quietly in your life as something that contains your memories of the air, the aroma and the time you experienced on your trip.

Pandan Leaf Powder

Along with continuing to recruit pandan leaf farms, based on insights on pandan use in South East Asia, we are moving ahead with the development of pandan leaf powder for the Japanese and global markets.
We are in the process of building a raw materials business to support standard design and product development based on applications focusing on beverages, confectionery and bread.
We are currently in the development stage, but we are always available for discussions with OEMs and food manufacturers.
