Greeting
My first encounter with pandan leaves was through a Vietnamese dessert called “Mount Fuji Cake (Bánh Phù Sĩ)” at a cooking class.
Captivated by its fragrance and simple flavor, I fell in love with pandan leaves.
Since then, I never missed a cooking lesson using pandan leaves, deepening my understanding of cooking methods, usage, and food culture.
My interest eventually expanded beyond learning recipes in Japan; I wanted to experience local life and visit production areas firsthand, leading me to travel throughout Southeast Asia.
Through home cooking, markets, and daily meals, I realized pandan leaves are not merely a flavoring ingredient—they are deeply rooted in people's lives and culture.
Wanting to share this value more widely in Japan—that feeling became the origin of my current business. I named this role the “Pandan Ambassador®.”
It involves correctly understanding the characteristics and cultural background of pandan leaves, then connecting their charm and potential to products, experiences, and markets. I believe this is the role I should take on.
Driven by the vision to “create new value and business through pandan leaves,” Pandanova operates as a comprehensive pandan leaf trading company. We handle everything from cultivating farmers to product planning, manufacturing supervision, and sales support.
We will continue our activities with the hope that pandan leaves become a familiar and beloved presence in everyone's daily lives.

The Meaning Behind
the Name "Pandanova"
The company name Pandanova combines Pandan and Nova (meaning “new star”).
The pandan leaf, often called the “vanilla of the East,” is a tropical plant with a sweet, gentle fragrance. It permeates the food and daily lives of Southeast Asian people, used to flavor and color dishes and sweets, and as an ingredient in herbal teas.
Pandanova focuses on this pandan leaf material, consistently handling everything from product planning and manufacturing supervision to sales promotion, all from a perspective that connects “agriculture,” “food,” “lifestyle,” and “culture.”
We strive to correctly understand the background of the material and connect its value to products, experiences, and the market. The name Pandanova embodies our aspiration to be an entity that opens up the possibilities of the pandan leaf to the future.
